Chilled Refrigerated Vans
Van Insulated Conversions
We have a range of vehicles which can be converted into refrigerated vans. We use an insulated panel kit – helping to cut costs and increase efficiency. Three element panels will be fitted to the interior of the load space, making it lightweight, increasing payload, and extremely temperature efficient.
The lining is made up of a layer of insulating foam bonded to a layer of high spec plywood, with a glass fibre reinforced outer layer. This makes the inner surface smooth, easy to clean and durable. Another feature of our refrigerated vans is the strong laminate flooring, with insulated wheel boxes which reduce heat entering the van. The interior is finished in a purposeful blue gel.
Chilled Side and Rear Door Access
If the van you wish to insulate has side and rear access doors, the interiors will be insulated and panelled in white glass fibre sheet. The top panels will be sealed and fixed, and the bottom ones will be completely removable enabling access to the door locking mechanism.
Frozen Side and Rear Door Access
For frozen specification vans, if only personal access is required, the side and/or rear doors will be removed and replaced with a single RVL low temperature plug door assembly. This will have a lockable push handle and internal emergency release.
If you require pallet access through the rear door, the original doors will be removed and replaced with RVL low temperature asymmetric (pallet width) plug doors. This consists of a single service door with a side leaf door, which will provide pallet access when both are open. The service door can also be used on its own.
The insulated doors are high specification and easy to use as the tapered doors gently pull apart when opening.
Bespoke Refrigerated Vans
We can also arrange bespoke refrigerated vans to meet individual requirements. We can fit purpose built racks which can be useful for transporting easily damaged goods. Dual and triple compartments are also available. We are confident we can select the right refrigeration specification to meet your needs and ensure maximum efficiency.
